Wonderful Edwardian home in Swanage which surpassed all our expextations.
This elegant comfortable and stylish home incorporates the very best of the up to date modern home without detracting from its history. A house suitable for three generations, with all of us loving it. The owners have provided everything to ensure your holiday is memorable. Two sitting rooms, both with superb views of the sea and Swanage bay, Comfortable beds, ample hot water, central heating, everything you could wish for in a kitchen diner, and a neat little garden. We have visited Swanage for over 30 years, firstly with our three daughters and now with our two grandsons and have rented many,many properties during that time but the quality of this house has surpassed all the others. If I lived permanently in Swanage this would be my dream home. Thank you so much from us all.

Fantastic much bigger than it looks from outside
Great house - all nautical theme fantastic - very clean and tidy - comfy beds - (singles downstairs - bit soft) wonderful views - great laidback owner - was a pleasure to stay in beautiful swanage despite weather
Hi so glad you had a good stay despite the weather. At least you could use the log fire.
All the beds have the same mattresses, bought at the same time so maybe just personal preference as they’ve all had same usage.

We were lucky enough to get a slot that had suddenly become available due to a cancellation! This is a great property with lots of space and excellent facilities. It is very well maintained and very clean and each room is so spacious that the 8 of us didn't get on top of eachtother. The beds are so comfortable and the house so well equipped that it is a home from home. Denise left us biscuits, tea, milk and fresh flowers - a really nice touch. The children loved playing with all the toys and the dolls house - so much so that they ignored the toys that they had brought with them! The walk down to the town centre is only about 5 minutes, but the walk back is much longer!! I didn't realise just how steep that part of Swanage was. But it was a good workout after ice creams!

Kelston Villa was a great choice of property and made our stay in Swanage all the more relaxing. It was beautifully clean, spacious, and well-appointed with a very homely feel.
We were a group of 8 staying in the house and everybody loved the space throughout, with a special ‘yeah’ going to the powerful showers you have - very much needed after a day’s walking, swimming and exploring! The fantastic weather also meant we could have breakfast and evening meals on the garden patio every day.
The location well placed for the town and beach and by the end of the week we had even got used to the walk back up the hill from the shops.
Denise is a great host and responded to any questions quickly making the booking process very easy. We would all like to come back soon.
Six ladies spent four nights in this wonderful property. It is really spacious with a cosy, sunny garden. Views right over Swanage from up high. You can walk from the door onto the coastal path and to the National Park. You can walk downhill to the town and beach and get good exercise walking back up the hill too. Such a great area for variety, beauty, history, sport and seafood, wow. Cannot wait to go back. Happy people 🤗👍🏻

Comfortable family house
We stayed here for a week of painting with our Art Group in June.
This is beautifully maintained and comfortable house. Suitable for family and small group of friends. Well supplied with kitchen equipment and materials. Nice towels, good showers and lots of toilet roll! Great to have 2 sitting room spaces...if one is used as a bedroom. Garden is small and has an amazing view across the bay.
This house is set high up from the town centre. Its quite a walk back up through the pretty streets, but not suitable for anyone who struggles and it would be hard work with a buggy and small children. There is good parking on the streets and one small space off road.
Swanage is a lovely seaside town. Good beach with parking in the town. There are plenty of things to do locally for families.

The house is in an elevated position in a quiet area to make the most of the views. The walk back to the house is stunning via the Downs above the pier, taking in the fantastic view of Swanage, Durlston and Peveril.
A relaxing taxi back for 4 people is a snip at £3
