Guesthouse is located at Kennedy Point Vineyard.
The home vineyard was planted in 1996 on 13.5 acres of land with steep north facing slopes. This land has a history of fruitful ventures beginning with its name- sake Captain John B. Kennedy who arrived from Scotland in 1879 and broke in four and a half thousand acres of land on Waiheke to build a new life in New Zealand. Today, following Organic viticulture, and bio Dynamic practices, the vines planted in dense clay soils, heated by the long sunlight hours, cooled by the sea breezes, and hand tended, produce wines “reflecting the vitality of the land” Kennedy Point is the 1st and only Certified organic vineyard on Waiheke Island
