Apartamento de 32 m² Latin Quarter / Jardim Botânico

This apartment was perfect for what I need and what I’m looking for in Paris. I like that it has a separate bedroom with a door that closes and also that the water closet/toilet is separate from the shower. The ceilings are high with nice architectural details. I enjoyed all the natural light coming in from all the windows. I was very grateful to have the elevator, which worked perfectly, because the apartment is on the 6th floor. And then, of course, the apartment is located in a wonderful neighborhood.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the flat. Other reviews led me to believe that we would have much less space. My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights, and there was plenty of room for us and our luggage. The flat was very clean (and I'm particular about that). Having the washing machine was extremely helpful. While we didn't cook during our stay, the kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have an elevator, but it was very tiny--I ended up taking the stairs when possible because I'm slightly claustrophobic. My daughter had no trouble with it.

The location was ideal. We were able to walk to many tourist sites (don't miss the Pantheon--easy walking distance and fascinating), and took Uber just a few times. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a historic heat wave in Paris, so we did not take Metro because we kept hearing how miserable it was in the heat.

The heat made it impossible for us to be in the flat during the day. There is one fan in the flat, but since we slept in separate rooms, this meant only one person could use it at night. I did try opening the windows at night, which helped slightly, but sometimes there was noise from people coming in late, and I'm a light sleeper. With the windows closed, I would not have heard anyone in the courtyard. My daughter had an easier time sleeping in the heat than I did. I knew the flat did not have air conditioning, but did not anticipate record-high temperatures!

We had a few minor issues during our stay, but they were resolved quickly. The owner was very responsive.

Overall, great value for the price. I would stay again.

I stayed here with my 2 young adult children and we just loved this little apartment! My daughter and I slept in the bedroom while my son slept on the sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is small but there is plenty of room for everything with lots of closet space, shelves, cubbies and hooks. The location is ideal and has a wonderful farmers market nearby twice a week. Easy walking distance to the Seine and tourist areas but in a quiet neighborhood to get away from it all. The Contrascarpe area and Rue Moufftard are minutes away with lots of cafes, shops, etc. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

A little shocking for an American at first because everything is so compact. But it all worked and we came to appreciate the efficiency. Location was great and the price very fair. We would certainly return!

We had an enjoyable time. The apartment had all of the amenities we desired. The owner was friendly and responded quickly with recommendations.
