Stony Point - Acomodações de Luxo

Our stay here was perfect and just what we needed to relax with my family and my brother's. The town is quiet and there's not much going on there, but having the dock and being lakeside was all we needed. We could fish off the dock (we're not big fishers but we were all able to catch a few), use their Stand Up Paddleboard, swim, cook out and let the kids play outside. Bev was great answering any questions and in a timely way.

Most of the staples are there and whatever you need you can get at the Price Chopper near by or even a drive to Plattsburgh. We were traveling with an 18 month old so brought a gate to keep her away from the stairs, so be sure to bring one if you've got real small children.

House is lovely and with the open floor plan for the living areas is an easy place for an extended family to stay. The lake front property provides easy access and wonderful views. Provided kayaks would have been nice since we couldn't find rentals in the area. The only negative would be the air-conditioning which was not always adequate. Would be nice if fans were provided.

Overall this is an excellent property within walking distance of town with fantastic bicycling. Montreal is a 45- to an hour drive. A grocerty store is within a short distance.

We had a superb week at the Beck's house on 151 Stony Point Road in Rouse's Point - 6 people (3 couples).

Pre-stay arrangements and communications were straightforward, smooth, informative, and accurate.

The house is in excellent condition, well-situated on the lakefront with superb views, and was super-well stocked with everything that might be needed.

Great fishing from the dock (caught 3 multi-pound largemouth and smallmouth bass and a passle of perch). We used the canoe and also rented paddleboards for the duration.

We will surely be back!

Everything about the property, lake and area was amazing. Cannot wait to visit the area again.
