HISTORY: Property was built in 1948 and open to operate since 1952, we offer up to date lodging spaces; the historic significance was being the FIRST LODGING built on US Hwy 14 between Madison and La Crosse, Wisconsin, a 120 miles stretch road.
ARCHITECTURE: Designed by JC Caraway - a Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice at the time, the project was supervised by the Master. The USONIAN architectural lines are a Frank Lloyd Wright signature style, straight lines and clean spaces, non clutter - the idea was simplicity for furnishing and use of space. COMFORT and SERVICE: Uniquely designed, the rooms are a comfortable space to make you feel at home; amenities we offer are meeting the standard of the 21st century, so you should not need anything else. We strive to be at your service and make your stay memorable. *** This is your place to have a time of relaxation, enjoy a glass of our special wine inventory on the patio and later at night you can do star gazing in the backyard! Our lodging property it's about comfort and history. The Usonian Inn it's a testimony of time.
