My wife and I are avid readers of reviews when choosing a place to stay, and after reading all the reviews for Villa Cocobolo, it was an easy decision for us. Trey was very communicative during the reservation process, and after we booked, he was always available to answer any of our questions.
We knew from other guests we would be happier if we had a 4x4 vehicle or a 4-wheeler. We chose both! We loved the drive from Liberia to the property, and enjoyed a few days with a 4-wheeler. The roads can be fun, you can get lost, and things certainly can get interesting, but we knew that beforehand, so it just became part of our adventure.
Villa Cocobolo is exactly how it is represented on the VRBO site, well to be honest, it is even better. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the home is beautiful. We saw some impressive sunsets right from our porch and at the pool. As for the pool, it is a nice treat at the end of a long day, and the days for us were long. We usually woke up at sunrise to the sounds of monkeys and birds.
Trey is always working around the property planting, gardening and making improvements, so he is very accessible. He took my wife and I for our first surf lessons ever, and we both stood up and rode lots of waves to the shore. If you are looking for a surf instructor and Trey is available, look no further.
Trey and Jaclyn invited us over to their new project, a craft brewery. It is a work in progress at this point, but we am excited to see the final product next year! We love craft beer, and we tried Trey’s American Pale Ale, Porter and IPA, and it is obvious the same love and dedication for the property is being put into the beer. We can’t wait to come back and stay when they have the brewpub open. Cheers!
