Very nice space for multigenerational family
Clean and spacious apartment within walking distance to grocery store and Luas public transportation. Lovely outdoor space. The only drawback was the noise from construction in plaza at ground level.
Comfortable and well equipped
The home is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The location feels safe and is convenient to the bus, supermarket and plenty of activities. The host was terrific, and explained the apartment and gave tips for the area. My family enjoyed their stay.
Great place to stay in Dublin
Good location. Nice apartment with access to local places of interest, shops and restaurants.
Nice apartment in nice area
Nice clean apartment. LUAS stop very close. Oscars restaurant in the building was great. A little noisy on Fri and Sat nights and mattresses need updated.
Practically Perfect in Every Way
The flat was fantastic for our party of six and conveniently located to the LUAS stop as well as a Hop On Hop Off bus stop. Lovely views of Smithfield Market from the front window seat with spectacular sunrises. If you like whiskey, Jameson is a good first stop because it's right across the street. Food is plentiful (My Meat Wagon does good BBQ and Urbanity has a great breakfast). If you're OK with short walks, all of Dublin is available to you!
Patrick is an excellent resource and made sure our family was well settled before he said good-bye. The flat itself is well-appointed with everything you could want in the kitchen (Google the directions for the washer if you do laundry).
Only drawback: I couldn't bring the window seat home. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
A few problems with the rental,
I was told a washer/dryer was available. Was told the dryer was removed when we arrived which made it very inconvenient for some who planned to clean cloths reducing their packing. There was no extra toilet paper for three bathrooms and six people! The television was not working as there was no internet connection all week,. The freezer was in need of defrosting and no ice cube trays available. Lastly the hot water was very sporadic even when showers were arranged to account for use. Other than these problem the premises were very nice.
Thanks for your review Virginia. I'm pleased you had a good time but disappointed that you had a few issues. However at check-in I asked that you make me aware of any probs you might encounter so I could come in to sort at any time (I only live 20 mins away). You didn't do this and this is particularly annoying to me as it was only a matter of showing you again how these electric fittings work. The washer/dryer works perfectly. Likewise there is no issue with the TV-----its working perfectly for the present guests BUT it has nothing to with the internet!! I've checked the hot water and it works also as explained (automatically heating every morning and evening with facility for the guest to control it at other times). There's ice for sale in the supermarket downstairs and also toilet paper and I always leave sufficient to cover first few days. Also I will continue to check the freezer for defrosting purposes.
Hopefully you can return in the future when I will make sure that you will be able to work the electric fittings.
