READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING...here’s the straight-scoop from an upper middle-class, American’s perspective...as with much of Thailand, there seems to be a bit of false-advertising that plagues the country, then again, everything is subjective. These “Executive Studios” are NOT “brand-new”...brand-new is 1-year or less to me...these are easily over 5-years old and probably closer to 10-years. The view IS “magnificent”, however, what they don’t specify is that these units are built on a VERY steep hill, so you will definitely need to rent a car and/or scooter to go to/fro the beach. These units are fitted-out with very cheap furnishings...the outdoor patio furniture is essentially falling apart from sun damage...the bed frame and tv stand are made of very-thin plywood...the shower head/assembly is wobbly and the chrome finish is breaking-down, same goes with the bathroom faucet assembly...the bathroom towel rack is falling off the wall...the jacuzzi tub is missing one of the lower maintenance panels...the A/C unit mounted above the bathroom door is rusting out and leaks to the floor below...the paint is peeling off the ceiling of the outdoor balcony...again, NOT brand-new!!!
