Great stay

The condo looked pretty much identical to the pictures. It was clean for the most part, maybe a little dusty here and there. View was great but we didn't realize the balcony had no roof so that was a little bummer since it rained quite a bit. The shower in the master bathroom was awful if I'm being nit picky. The head of the shower was not adjustable and I'm short so it made it impossible to shower in there. Overall the stay was great and I would book this condo again if the price was right.

The people that are working relax on the beach seem to be not very knowledgeable, compassionate or understanding. Tried to check in 2 hours early. They lied said someone was cleaning room, went to room to get parking pass and no one was there . Dryer was stopped up st wall, filled out msintenve form and called, no one would answer. We fixed it ourselves by pulling it out cleaning the duct. Full of water and lint from hose to vent in wall.

We reminded you in the final instructions we sent you that we cannot accommodate early check-ins during the busy summer season. We have a short period of time to clean the houses and get them ready between departures and arrivals. Perhaps you didn't read your final instructions? They also let you know that the parking passes will be left for you in the unit. So sorry you found lint in the dryer. Perhaps you misread the instructions on how to contact guest services as well?

The Lighthouse is my favorite place to stay in Gulfshores. This rental is just the right size for my wife and I. It would work well for a couple with young children, too. The Lighthouse is in a great location, less than a mile from where Hwy 59 runs into Beach Blvd. The rooms are nice, the pools and beach are well maintained. The property was as shown in the pictures. The owner was very helpful with a problem I had that turned out to be my mistake. I will recommend to others. I like to call S&S Seafood Market and order fish. I drive 2.4 miles to their location and it is just about ready when I arrive. This is how we do lunch most days. There are a lot of good places to eat at night. You can do fancy or you can do fast food near the Outlet Mall. I'll be back.

We loved staying at this condo and would go back for sure. The beach was beautiful, the condo was wonderful, had everything we needed. The pools, the hot tubs and the workout area. Also, the location was perfect, after a great day on the beach, there were great places to dine at night. I would highly recommend this place.

Great Property / Poor Management

This was a very good property and location. However the property office staff and the management company were less than professional. We checked in with the property office first and were faced with a very rude woman at the desk. All we were asking about was the needed parking pass and we were told she knew nothing about parking passes and told us to contact the management company. (Eventually we found the pass in the unit but had no advanced info on how to obtain it.) We waited until 4:00pm to enter the property as stated in the rental agreement only to find that the property had not been cleaned yet. We contacted the management company and were told that cleaning staff would be there ASAP. It took the cleaner until 6:30pm to get the place ready for us to occupy. Not a good way to begin our stay and the indication that the management company has difficulty handling basic services. Recommend that you call the management company at noon the day of your arrival to verify that they will have the unit clean and ready per there 4:00pm occupancy time.

We are very sorry that you arrived to an unclean unit. Unfortunately, we had some major cleaning to do after spring break guests and were running a bit behind. Of course, as you said, your parking passes were there for you in the condo. My apologies for the rough start. I hope that after the first 2 1/2 hours, your week was fantastic!

1402 is a great condo at the Lighthouse. Tastefully decorated, and plenty of linens. All previously listed issues have been addressed and we had no problems whatsoever. The entire process, from rental to checkout, was smooth. The 'Relax On The Beach' app offered great suggestions. We will definitely rent from this owner, as well as the agency, again.
