Check in was at an office fairly close to the apartment. We were given a map and directions which took us there without any problems. The apartment was clean and well maintained. It was situated within easy walking distance of grand place and city centre attractions. The only negatives were a bit of noise from what sounded like a party in an adjoining apartment and minor detail of the only tall cupboard to hang clothes in having no door handles.
I would recommend this apartment for short stays as storage is a little limited for more than a week.
This was our first trip to Brussels, Belgium. We were there for one week, although based on the experiences we had in this historic ancient city, it will not be our last. Our stay at Slacken Residence 5 apartment was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. From the very first communication with the staff to the last encounter, we experienced 5 star customer service. They made us feel as if we were visiting friends instead of being proprietors of a renovated castle. We had no idea how close we were to everything. After we settled into our flat, we decided to take a walk. Rue Antoine Danseuse is a luxury street of downtown Brussels. Many shops of modern Belgian fashion, shoe shops etc are there. There is something for everyone. The area is fascinating and you can have a peaceful walk either in the daytime or at night. Grand Place and Kennan Pis are just around the corner from this great road. Grand apartments and buildings occupy the road on each side. All these have great facade and the architecture will be of great interest for those studying architecture.
We spent 10 nights during our short vacation. Our stay was very exciting, and the apartment really fantastic.
This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood but also close to everything at the same time. It is a short walking distance to the metro and everything else. I particularly enjoyed the Rue Nerve shopping street. I advise you to start to walk on this road from Roger square then walk down the street to Grand Place. it is about 1-1.5 km long. A lot of street brand not luxury brand. The staff were very professional and very accommodating. We were very pleased with every aspect of the apartment and our stay. The location and price were superb; we could not have picked a better place to stay.
My partner and I loved this little flat in Brussels. From here we pounded the pavement and saw most sights – it was very accessible. As for the flat, it was very well equipped, tasteful and of a very high standard. The living area was fantastic; we spent plenty of time there. The staff were also very accommodating as well as understanding considering our miss-up with communications. Looking forward to our return some day.
The flat worked great for us. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. We particularly liked how close it was to the metro and walking distance to the sites of ancient Brussels. After we booked I wondered if I would have been better of here an area that so many have recommended. But once we were there we were glad we stayed in this apartment. Charming real neighborhood, plenty of night life with locals. The flat was quiet and the beds were comfortable. We were very satisfied.
