The property is great. Uniquely renovated. Super clean. I suggest changing the picture that appears on the website. It is the wrong property. Based on the picture, we anticipated having a nice outdoor patio w/grill. Not the case. This is the property next door at 127 W High St. None the less. 123 W High St is a great place to go. Short distance to town. Walkable if you enjoy a challenge.

In regards to the “website picture of the house“ I am not sure what you are referring to… As there are no pictures of the outside for this property. Nor is there any website associated with this property. just the VRBO pics.
Nice Property in a Great Location!
This property was great for our long weekend at Jim Thorpe. We were there for a bike race at Blue Mountain which required us to be at the mountain most of the time but, it was nice to have a property to come back to that felt like home. The house was very tastefully decorated, and had a historic (for lack of a better term) feel that is in keeping with the feel of Jim Thorpe in general. One thing I really liked about this property is the location. After a day of riding at Blue Mountain, we could park our cars back at the house and walk right into town for dinner/ drinks. The property is right above a historic street with a hand full of good restaurants and shops and it is only 2 blocks from main street. All in all, I would not hesitate to stay at this house again. It was perfect in a perfect location. If you are looking to spend a long weekend in Jim Thorpe, I would highly recommend this property.
Great place to stay in Jim Thorpe
This property was perfect for me and my daughter when we decided to spend a weekend in Jim Thorpe. The house is located within 5 min walking distance to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. We rode our bikes to the train station where we boarded a bike riding shuttle. It was very convenient and we didn't have to pay for parking there. Just one thing to note: if you plan on walking around Jim Thorpe, it might be challenging for some people to make it up the hill when you return to the house as it is located on an elevated street. However, it was not a problem for me or my daughter. There was plenty of parking spaces immediately in front of the house or a few yards away. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable. We didn't cook but the kitchen had everything you might need for cooking. We did a lot of hiking, biking, yoga and just walking around the town, and it was a pleasure to return to this home for some needed rest. I would definitely recommend this property, and we hope to return there for another fun weekend in beautiful Jim Thorpe.
Charming and Ideal Location
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and its close proximity to the charm of Jim Thorpe's downtown. The property is as advertised and was especially clean and comfortable, inside and out. A small porch offers a lovely space to enjoy morning coffee or a late afternoon cocktail and while the home is close to a neighbor's, a beautifully built fence provides privacy. Clever use of small spaces made the home feel expansive. For those who enjoy cooking, all the basics are provided in a small but efficient kitchen. For those with mobility issues, the stairs to the second floor are narrow and steep, but the first floor bedroom is easily accessible and comfortable. Looking forward to future bookings with James!
