The property was listed as "upscale" but is an old tired property in need of upgrade. I should have asked how old is the property. The kitchen and bathrooms left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness, kitchen utensils, towels, linens, and the furniture was uncomfortable. The TV is a streaming TV so if you don't have one at home with subscriptions, there's not much to watch. We expressed our unhappiness that first week with the owner of the complex. After a couple of messages, we never heard back. Given that the owner owns the entire complex, I would have expected a much faster response to issues such as hot water, a dirty BBQ, and a water leak from the unit above. We were told that the lack of hot water in that unit was an ongoing problem. We have stayed at 2 star motel that were better. We tried to be away from the complex as much as possible and while we booked for 5 weeks, but we eventually left a week early.
