Plenty of space
We came to the Indio/La Quinta area for
a gathering of our extended family. We wanted a space large enough for our family unit and to accommodate visits from the adult children of our extended family with their toddler children. I also wanted a jacuzzi for my husband to enjoy. This place met our expectations.
A few days before our stay we were informed of the city of Indio “quiet hours” and were also told that those hours were also the curfew on the use of “outdoor amenities”. I was grateful to see the quiet hours expectations but dismayed about the stated restrictions on the quiet use of jacuzzi and fire feature. For what it is worth, the signage inside the unit described the quiet hours but NOT a curfew on outdoor amenities.
We were also directed to the city of Indio form which asks not only the names of all occupants but also the make, model and license plate of all persons who will drive to the property as occupants or guests.
While I was irritated that this combination of buzzkill and Big Brother information had not been made clear at the time I made our reservation, in the end it did not negatively impact our stay. I would have preferred that these local ordinances had been illuminated at the time I made my reservation and that the messaging was more consistent. Again, I have no problem with the quiet hours and I bet they are sorely needed during festival season but the outdoor amenities were an important part of choosing this property
