Bad neighborhood and noisy neighbors
The house itself was nice and clean. I did not realize it was a multi unit house so we had neighbors very close. The walls were paper thin so we could hear the loud neighbors all night because they decided to have a party. The town is not a nice town at all, I was scared to even go outside to my car alone. I read another review saying that someone broke in through the window and stole from the people staying there. I immediately checked all the windows when I got there and there was an OPEN window! Absolutely scary certainly in that sketchy neighborhood. Be careful and check twice before booking.
Weird place in a bad neighborhood.
We checked in easily. Digital code on the door. 2 bedrooms, one with an okay bed and one very hard, like a cardboard box. From the beds it has 4 steps down to the single toilet. Dangerous at night. The landlord left a window unlocked behind the blinds. A thief broke in and stole medicines , a pair of new jeans, and a cell phone. The landlord said it was our fault because his staff never makes a mistake. But we never saw the window because we were only there at night. A good TV, cable, and Internet. The sharpest knife couldn't cut cheese or cake. Old nonstick frying pans
My family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed at BlueWavePlace with our 2 dogs for a couple nights over Thanksgiving. We came from out of state to spend the holiday with local family. We were very pleased with our accommodations. The unit is bright, immaculate and comfortable. The style is very minimalist - which we all loved - only the essentials and no excess clutter. The unit felt spacious - the bedrooms were located on opposite sides of the main living space so each felt private. The neighborhood is not a vacation type neighborhood (which I knew going in), but it is well located, close to Asbury Park and Ocean Grove and convenient for guests with dogs (the streets all have sidewalks so dog walking is easy). It is also very quiet so we all slept well in the comfortable beds. Everything in the unit felt new, my teens were thrilled with the number of options provided on the TV and the rain showers were great. My husband jogged from the house to the boardwalk for his morning run (I think it was about 1.5 miles). We ate breakfast at Cardinal in Asbury and The Buttered Biscuit in Bradley and I'd recommend both. We would be happy to return to this property in the future and I would recommend it to others.
so beautiful and clean. perfect place to stay with friends and family for a beach vacation
a great place to hang out after the beach. clean and spotless. a nice place to relax in a quiet suburban neighborhood. you need a car or take uber to and from the beach - not walking distance. perfect for a couple and one or two children.
