We arrived 9/24/12 for 2 weeks. All was as advertised. The location was 2miles(or kms) from the sea & about a 30min ride from Rome. Mass transit was very convenient & easy to figure out. We rented a car & finished many days with a walk on the beach. The real bonus in this rental was our landlady & her family. She was there to help us with everything, pick-up @ the airport, car rental, local attractions, amazing lasagna for our first meal, drop-off @ the airport, even shared a wonderful day with the family to harvest olives in their olive grove. The highlight of our trip. We hope to return, but what a great place to spend our 50th anniversery & make a lifelong friend.

Beatrice and her whole family were wonderful folks who made us feel right at home right away. Ardea is a lovely little town about 25 minutes from Rome where the drivers are far less crazy and the neighborhood is very friendly and safe. Just down the street is an ice cream shop that serves up the most delicious ice cream we'd had in a good while. During the summer it's open quite late, we got there around 10pm and it was even handy that we were able to pick up milk for our young boy there as well. Either way we were OK as Beatrice was kind enough to provide us with a litre of milk just in case when we mentioned we needed some. Even better, Beatrice had whipped us up the most delicious little cake to welcome us on our first night. We essentially stayed in an adjoining suite with a little living room and kitchenette. We were provided with a good shower, and towels, of course, a handy washing machine in our suite, a comfy bed in a charming room, a nice patio for lounging, and a beautiful yard for our 3 year old to play in safely as the walls were high around the yard, and there were secure gates for entry. For our son it was especially great that Beatrice had two lovely young daughters for him to play with. The adorable six year old, Sofia was particularly good company as she was young enough to enjoy or perhaps at times tolerate his company and energy. I feel bad as I only heard her husband's name the once and can't recall it now. It seems especially a shame as he was a wonderful guy who made every effort to make us feel at home and as welcome as possible. If you prefer privacy, the family is very good about leaving you your own space, separate from the rest of the home, with your own private entrance and space if you like. However, if you are interested in chatting with some wonderful Italian folks, they are more than happy to do so. I had the good fortune of getting to share in Italy's big victory over Germany at the Eurocup with them as they were watching on their own patio. Though I'm not a big wine drinker, my wife absolutely loved the couple of bottles of wine Beatrice's husband had made and provided her as well. Overall, our stay here was very comfortable, very affordable, and very charming. It was truly a home away from home.

Vraiement très bon accueil chez Beatrice, nous avons beaucoup aimé le gîte très confortable, spacieux et très propre. A retenir car nous y reviendrons sans faute

We were very happy with our stay at appartment. The apartment was nice, peaceful, clean and well-maintained. The terrace was big and lovely, just as nice as it seems in the photos. It has all amenities and is set up perfectly for a family vacation. The location is close enough to Rome with auto very comfortable and close enough to the sea that you can walk to the beach or on the bike what we gave our proprietaries .The owners of house were very kindness and attentive. We didn’t give our computer but we has all information that we need end even more.
This was our first stay here and we can fully recommend this appartment and we could have another vacation there whenever.

The apartment, where I and my husband lived almost five weeks was nice and clean. It is room enough for two people, but also 3-4 people can stay there. There you are able to cook; the kitchen is ok and there are two super mercados nearby.

The garden is beautiful and own terrace is excellent.The whole area is peaceful and nice, and we slept very well. The beach is not faraway the house; you can walk there. It is easier to move, if you have a car, but it also possible to visit towns nearby and also Rome with busses. Overall we enjoyed staying there really much!

Absolutely the greatest thing is owner Beatrice and her family. Such kindness and hospitality you´ll get nowhere. They all are such helpful and lovely persons.

My husband and I spend some days in Ardea ,everything was great!
The landlady ,Beatrice was a friendly and warm person ,she took care of everything and helped in every situation. Her english was excellent.The apartment is clean and nice with all the facilities. I can warmly recommend the apartment!
I think that we'll come back!

Splendido appartamento,purtroppo siamo rimasti solo pochi giorni ma ci ritorneremo!!!
Tutto molto bello e soprattutto funzionale!!!
L'appartamento è più bello di come lo si vede in foto.
Poi, non da meno,scegliendo gli orari giusti si arriva a Roma in soli 20 minuti come descritto nell'annuncio,inoltre la zona,vicina al mare è davvero bella e tranquilla.
Siamo arrivati con la nostra automobile,però i proprietari ci hanno accompagnato con la loro autovettura ( una wolsvagen 7 posti ,comodissima) in delle visite guidate verso i Castelli Romani.abbiamo conosciuto Nemi,Frascati ,Castel Gandolfo ,paesini antichi,caratteristici e bellissimi, che altrimenti non avremmo mai pensato di andare a vedere.Abbiamo fatto delle foto da incorniciare,soprattutto a Nemi e Castelgandolfo dove ci sono dei laghi incantevoli.
Gite fantastiche,accompagnate da degustazioni di vini e prodotti tipici!!!!
