Ein schnuckeliges Appartement in einem altem Wachturm aus 1200 mit Schießscharten im (steilen) Treppenhaus. Es ist voll ausgestattet, die Eigentümer (Daniela und Sergio) sind sehr sympatisch und pflegen es mit liebevoller Hingabe. Sestri Levante ist ein wirklich guter Ort, um erholsame Ferien zu genießen.

A cute appartement from 1200 with loop-holes in the (steep) staircase. Everything you need is available. The likable owners (Daniela and Sergio) keep it with love. Sestri Levante is a really good location for a relaxing stay.

E' la seconda volta che affittiamo questo appartamento e, come la prima volta, io e mio figlio di tre anni, ci siamo trovati molto bene. E' molto confortevole, arredato con attenzione ed è dotato di tutto quello che può servire per una piacevole vacanza: cucina attrezzata, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, microonde, macchinetta per il caffé espresso, tv e dvd. Inoltre l'appartamento si trova proprio nel centro di sestri a due passi da tutti i negozi che possono servire. La baia del silenzio è raggiungibile a piedi in due minuti. I proprietari sono molto gentili e attenti e approfitto per ringraziarli di tutto. Torneremo sicuramente!

This apartment has so much character and is a pleasure to stay in. Everything you need is there and it is such a convenient place for all that Sestri Levante has to offer. Even the noise downstairs one night made it feel like we were in a real Italian town! We were welcomed so well by Federico and his father (picking us up from the train station was an added bonus)with a full explanation given of the apartment and a lovely bottle of local wine, a great start to a great stay.
It is handy pplace to stay for exploring the local area and we would highly recommend it to all.

We spend 10 days in paradise - perfect location, perfect apartment, perfect organisation through the owner - every thing perfect!

Just one little thing to take into consideration - the apartment is located in the heard of Sestri Levante 5 Min to both beaches, out of the doors are Restaurants & Bars which is great but if you plan to go to sleep before 11 pm than this is not the right choice.

We are coming back this for sure!

Sestri is a ideal place to explore the Italian Riviera... we had a hire car that allowed us to go west to see Portofino,Camogli, Santa marherita, Rapallo, Chiavari and Lavagna, all of these resorts being fascinating in their own way and the local train took us to Cinque Terre where we gradually made our way back along the coast from Riomaggiore to Vernazzo to Levanto... all very enjoyable

We agree with all the previous reviews about the apartment having all you can need for a self-catering holiday

The weather was kind enough to allow us to sit on the sea wall with the locals in the mornings in the Bay of Silence, a truly beautiful spot and only 100 yards from the apartment

Thanks to Federico for his efficient work before the holiday and most of all to Sergio who met us, showed us the town and where to park for free!!!

A strong recommend but you do have to be fit to climb those stairs!!!

Firstly I'd like to confirm everything Malisa G. wrote in her great review.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Federico and his gracious parents. We were shown how everything in the flat worked and given plenty of information about the surrounding area. A very nice touch was the cold water in the fridge and a complimentary bottle of delicious white wine. It was amazing to learn that this characterful flat is in a building which is 1000 years old! The flat is tastefully decorated and has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. Tablewear and glasses were very nice too. The flat's situation is perfect with the picturesque Baia del Silenzio just a minute's walk round the corner. It was lovely strolling round the streets in the late afternoon and evening when everything comes alive. There is a great choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and ice-cream parlors. We felt very safe and met many helpful and friendly locals even though we can't speak Italian. The flat is the perfect base for visiting other towns and villages in the area. One does not need a car, everywhere is easy to reach by local regional trains and/or busses. We had a very very happy holiday in Sestri Levante and will definitely be returning. We feel very lucky to have stayed in Federico's Family's lovely flat.

This apartment has everything you could possibly need while away from home. The location is fabulous and very close to two sets of sandy beaches. The rental is located on a street that is packed with little restaurants, ice cream shops and little stores. The food is authentic and very well done and as a bonus quite reasonably priced. Many other little towns are accessible by train which runs very frequently even on the weekends. There is also a ferry service to Portofino and other locations along the riviera. The town has a free wifi service that you must register for - pswd and userid sent to your mobile and email so do this ahead of time. There is also a coffee shop 50m from the apartment w free wifi. There is a very large supermarket within walking distance. It is a nationwide chain and has all the commodities you need to make for a comfortable and delicious stay in the Italian Riviera. As a bonus you can buy reasonably priced supertuscan wines at this grocers. All in all this apartment is amazing and the people are trusting, very generous and make themselves readily available to help with anything you might need. They picked me up from the station and showed me around the town. A previous review mentioned that the apartment is located above a pub. This is not true. It is an apartment building. The pub is located up the street 3-5 doors away. The reviewers mustn't be used to travelling in europe or in cities b/c there was average noise for an italian city. People are out and about in the evenings - they go for "La Passeggiata" which means "take a stroll". It's a well known Italian tradition which has been depicted by various famous artists and makes for a lovely evening out on the town. People of all ages, seniors and children are out in the late evenings eating ice cream, walking and talking. It lends to the charm of the town and gives tourists an added flavour of Italy. I was saddened to leave after only a week. Would definitely return to Sestri Levante and stay at the same location if possible.

the apartment was very clean and cosy, well decorated.the only negative side for apartment was the noise at the tavern downstairs on weekends.but overall cute place.owners are very down to earth peopleand made us fell at home.
