We had the most gorgeous holiday at this apartment. Fantastic views from the balconies as the sun went down over the lake. We were very comfortable and well looked after by Maria.The apartment is very well equipped and a place to park was welcome.
Very easy to walk into the village and many shops nearby.There are excellent restaurants in the village and Bolsano itself is not far. This has water front bars and walks. We ate a beautiful meal of lake fish sitting right on the water's edge.Rome airport is easily accessible by car. We has a wonderful holiday and we would recommend this apartment.

Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen in der Ferienwohnung. Die Gegend um den Lago hat viel zu bieten - tolle Städte, Festungen, Kirchen, Parks ... und man muss nie weit fahren. Im Juni war das Wasser schon so warm, dass unsere Kinder (1 und 3) ohne Probleme lange darin planschen konnten. Zudem gibt es fast überall freien Zugang zum Wasser, flach abfallende Sandstrände und super sauberes Wasser. Und überall tolle Spielplätze am Wasser.
Die Wohnung war für uns super - ein Kind im 2. Schlafzimmer und eines im Reisebett im Wohnzimmer. Zudem gibt es dichte Fensterläden - für die Kinder, die es dunkel mögen. Die Küche hat alles Notwendige da und die Waschmaschine ist auch toll. Das Auto wird im Garten geparkt, aber das Haus steht eh in einer Sackgasse (deren Zufahrt sehr schmal ist).
Die Vermieterin spricht sehr gut englisch und ist sehr hilfsbereit.
Wer den weiten Weg von Deutschland auf sich nimmt, wird hier auf jeden Fall belohnt.

Me and my family (total 4) had a splendid holiday at Casa Faleri at Montefiascone. The surroundings are stunning with places like Orvieto, Bagnoregio, Viterbo, Bolsena, the Bolsena Lake. The house is beautiful fom the outside and inside. It has a lovely sunny garden too.The house is situated just outside the historic center in a piecefull neighborhood. From the house to the center of Montefiascone is just a 5 minute walk. The grocery, bakery, supermarket are nearby aswell. Everything you need in an apartment is there. The view over the Bolsena lake is absolutly gorgiuos. The apartment is nicely,modern furnished, lots of space, cool, clean and easy accessible. There is no airconditioning available but you do not need it anyway. There a very nice beds, TV (with foreigh channels), wireless internet, safety box and a washing machine. The beach of Montalto di Castro is just about 60 kmtrs away, it is a great ride to this beach and leads you to places like Valentino an Saturnia. For a low budgetholiday this is the place to be. I really hope to visit this region once again and I am for sure that I'll try to book at Casa Faleri again.

Wunderschön gelegenes, gepflegtes, sauberes Haus mit Blick vom Balkon auf den Lago di Bolsena. Ruhige Lage, dennoch nur 5 Gehminuten von dem Zentrum entfernt. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Besitzerin ist rührend um ihre Gäste bemüht.

Montefiascone ist eine sehr schön, hoch über dem See gelegene mittelalterliche Stadt; die Nähe zu Tarquinia (etruskische Kultur), Rom (100 km) und zum Bolsenasee sowie zu weiteren mittelalterlichen Städten Orvieto, Viterbo) macht es zu einer sehr interessanten Urlaubsgegend.

Abbiamo trascorso 2 splendide settimane nell'appartamento del B&B Faleri, l'appartamento è ben curato, spazioso, fresco con una bella vista sul lago; le camere sono grandi, la cucina perfettamente attrezzata e ci sono 2 pacevoli balconi.
L'appartamento si trova in zona prossima (10 min a piedi) al centro e con diversi negozi molto vicini. Il lago si raggiunge facilmente in macchina o con il bus, gli animali sono bene accetti e la signora Maria è efficiente, disponibile e molto simpatica. Insomma è perfetto per una vacanza in ambiente "familiare".

This apartment exceeded our expectations. The photos on the web don't do it justice. It's very stylish, but felt really homely. It was clean, really well fitted out, nice and big, and has fabulous views and balconies (to the lake one side and over pretty trees the other). Dishwasher and washing machine make for a real holiday. Maria is a fabulous host. she was really helpful and accommodating - even let us entertain a small group of friends in her beautiful garden. It's only a five minute walk to the old town, has good food shopping nearby. Just off the road to the lake, so really good access to swimming etc.
You do have to walk up two large flights of (beautiful marble) stairs. We were there in high summer and it was fine. There is lots of heating and an open fire, so it would be brilliant in cooler seasons. I'm 190cm and the shower was above my head (tall people will get this). A very quiet and domestic neighbourhood. Easy parking, child friendly garden with good security. We would recommend it to anyone.
