A colleague and I stayed 5 days on business in February. Everything was exactly as advertised. Lots of detail, lots of interesting elements. Fully stocked--I even found a travel mug, thermos, water bottle and other amenities to make a home away from home. Two grocery stores a few minutes walk away, a shawarma place across the street for some take-out (pick it up and enjoy it at "home"), even larger grocery a 5 minute drive away if you have a car. Buses stop on the block but you can also walk just about anywhere downtown. The parking space is very convenient, but I wouldn't recommend a big car. It's a little tight in the parking area (especially with snow!)

A couple of things appear to have changed since other reviews; there is a TV in the living room as well as a dining table. You can eat at the "bar" in the kitchen or take your meal down the hall to the living room. The front room (living room) is on the street and is subject to street noise, but that dies down quickly in the evening and the bedrooms and kitchen were quiet at all times.

Read the big binder when you get there--important instructions for the TVs, appliances, etc (although the assistant who greeted us did walk us through the important things).

The single thing that was a little surprising to me initially was that I had pictured a residential street; it's a mostly residential neighborhood, but the building itself is actually on a more commercial street. So as I approached, I found myself thinking "hmmmm....", but the unit itself is great and we enjoyed the location.

Assistant was present at the appointed time to check us in. Thinking of going back to Ottawa in the summer with my family; if we do, I'll try to stay there again.

Had a great weekend in Ottawa! The apartment was top notch and dealing with the owner was a breeze! We'll definitly book this apartment again in a near future! Thanks Catherine and Anita! Spotless, well furnished kitchen, great mattresses, heating toilet seat ( we had to get one!!!), walking distance to everything!

A designer's dream with a superb kitchen. Well appointed and very comfortable beds. The location is excellent with a short walk to the centre of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops to meet your every need. The property was spotless despite recent renovations. Only drawbacks were having to watch TV in the bedrooms as lounge has no TV and dining space is limited to a small counter in the kitchen. Both of which we understand are awaiting improvement. With these updates we would certainly come back and recommend it to friends.

this century home...one of the oldest on Rideau St.,.was an absolute dream! It was beautifully appointed, spotless and yes, central to the Ottawa sites. Beds were comfortable; bathrooms & showers were great. The kitchen was gorgeous & outfitted with everything we could think of. The outdoor seating area was a wonderful, quiet spot to be while drinking a morning coffee or a late nightcap. Many thanks for this experience!

We rented this condo for an extended long weekend recently.
It was very well equipped and was clean and as advertised. It was close to a grocery store, liquor store and pharmacy.
It was well within walking distance to all the tourist areas: Byward Market (fantastic restaurants), Parliament Hills, boat cruises and a quick cab ride to the Museum of Civilization and Casino in Quebec.
The owners wer helpful and accomodating.
I would recommend this condo if you visit Ottawa.

long overdue is this review, the condo is beautifully remodeled in an older section of Rideau Street.
everything is impeccably maintained and the support from the property manager was supurb.... there is lots close by, Parliament, Gatinueau and greater Ottawa, bus stop right out the door and 10 min right to capital hill HIGHLY Recommended

We stayed in the condo for 3 nights during Winterlude and we had an amazing time! The condo was spotless and clean and beautifully decorated in a unique and charming way. The kitchen and bathrooms had almost everything you would need and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We did not have a car but there was no shortage of taxis driving by every few minutes. We also bundled up and walked to the grocery store and lcbo (5 to 10 min) and up to the mall, parliament, and byward market (approx 15 min). This condo is centrally located and it is very obvious how much care is put into the details to make your experience as convenient and enjoyable as possible.
